Mission Center 1.0 brings Magpie backend, SMART data, and per-process network monitoring
Mission Center 1.0 has officially launched, marking a significant update for Linux users seeking robust system monitoring. This release includes numerous enhancements and bug fixes, providing insights into CPU, memory, disk, network, and GPU usage. The core resource-gathering backend underwent a complete refactor and is now known as Magpie. Notably, Magpie is available as a standalone library and executable, opening the door for integration with other monitoring solutions beyond Mission Center itself.
A major new capability lets users access SMART data for both SATA and NVMe storage devices, expanding hardware diagnostics directly within the app. Mission Center 1.0 now also allows users to eject removable storage devices — including optical disks and USB drives — without leaving the interface. Another standout feature is the inclusion of per-process network usage statistics, offering more granular insight into system activity.
This version introduces redesigned application and process pages, providing more detailed information at a glance. Users can now personalize the performance page by toggling smooth graph animations and selecting between Base-2, Base-10, Bits, or Bytes as measurement units. Support for all NVTOP-compatible GPUs, including Raspberry Pi, has been enabled, and additional improvements include updates to the memory view, keyboard shortcut support, and better overall performance.

Comments
This tool looks nice and is filled with many useful data, no doubt about it, but I fail to see the point of being restricted to only one page at the time. You can fill your screen with your CPU activity but cannot have the memory and network usage larger than 10% of your screen. And the other one, "Resources", has this same problem. That where htop and Plasma's System Monitor shine as they offer to create a single page filled with everything you need.
