Miro adds in-board prototyping, enhanced AI-powered creation, table improvements, and more

Miro has launched a public beta of its prototyping feature, giving product teams the ability to create interactive prototypes directly on the boards where their early concepts are developed. This addition streamlines the handoff from ideation to testing, enabling a more integrated workflow for those designing digital products.

Following the prototyping release, the Create with AI tool now supports generating documents, images, sticky notes, diagrams, tables, and even interactive prototypes from a single prompt. This expansion significantly broadens how teams can turn ideas into actionable visual content using artificial intelligence within the same workspace.

On the productivity front, tables in Miro now let users freeze columns when working in focus mode, so critical information such as names or statuses always remains visible when scrolling. Meanwhile, Miro Slides introduces the ability to add multiple lanes within a single slide container, helping users manage and organize different sections of a deck more easily.

Additional updates include the ability to reorder boards and sections within spaces using drag-and-drop, a new Diagramming Shape Pack for visualizing agentic workflows including automation and AI components, enhancements to synced copies for improved team alignment, and broader accessibility features alongside new community templates.
