Google Lens now lets users search and translate elements seen in YouTube Shorts

Users can now use Google Lens to search what they see in YouTube Shorts on iOS and Android devices. The tool activates by pausing a Short, selecting "Lens" from the menu, then highlighting or tapping elements on-screen. Viewers can also use Lens to translate captions and identify objects or places seen in a Short.

Notice how they mention "objects", "places" and "captions" but definitely NOT people. I'm assuming their lawyers are still advising against that
