ForkLift 4.3.3 adds Quick Open shortcut visualization & better pane memory for macOS users
BinaryNights has released ForkLift version 4.3.3 for macOS, bringing several new features to its dual pane file manager and transfer client. With this update, Quick Open now displays keyboard shortcuts next to each result. This change enables users to learn and remember shortcuts more easily while working. For many commands, you can also execute them directly from the Quick Open window using the associated shortcut unless overridden by active text fields.
Following these usability improvements, ForkLift now preserves the contents of the second pane when switching between single and dual pane layouts. This helps reduce workflow interruptions and offers a smoother interface adaptation.
The activity window gains greater transparency by displaying the exact number of items being synchronized during file transfers. Additionally, users can now add a “Date Last Opened” column to the list view, making it faster to find recently accessed files.
ForkLift 4.3.3 also includes additional subtle improvements and bug fixes, improving overall stability and performance.
