Fences 6 adds tabbed desktop organization and enterprise deployment tools

Stardock has released Fences 6, introducing tabbed Fences that let Windows users group multiple Fence areas within a single, customizable interface. Tabs can be added or removed as needed, offering more flexibility for organizing desktop shortcuts and files by category or purpose.

The update also adds the ability to tint desktop icons with a chosen color. This feature can help reduce distractions or visually highlight specific Fences, further refining workflow for users managing high volumes of files. Additionally, Folder Portals now provide enhanced navigation, making it easier to access and browse folder contents directly from the desktop, which benefits those who rely on quick folder access for daily tasks.

Fences 6 for Business expands deployment and management options with tools for templated setups and preset configurations, simplifying rollout across teams. Stardock also provides custom services for sectors like healthcare, law, and finance, where organized desktop layouts are essential.
