Trakt.tv launches 'Drop Show' for easier watchlist cleanup across all platforms

Trakt.tv has introduced the Drop Show feature, making it easier for users to clean up their watchlists by removing shows from Up Next, Progress, and Calendars without losing their watch history. Previously, hiding shows required multiple steps across different sections, but now it's simplified across the Trakt website, Trakt Lite, and mobile apps.

The new feature helps users manage their watchlists by removing shows they no longer wish to follow, whether due to lost interest or finding better content. Dropping a show is simple: on the Trakt website, users click the ⊖ icon, select when it was dropped, and it disappears from relevant sections. Trakt Lite users can access the editing menu to drop a show, while mobile app users can long press on a show to do the same.

Importantly, this feature preserves watch history, offering an efficient way to manage TV tracking across all platforms.
