Opera One adds music player to toolbar, easier split screen closing, and better Easy Files

Opera has introduced updates to its Opera One R2 web browser, addressing user feedback with several enhancements. Users can now pin the music player to the toolbar, allowing quick access without occupying additional screen space, which is beneficial for laptop users with limited display area.

The split screen functionality has been streamlined. Previously, exiting split screen required multiple steps via a menu. Now, users can simply click the vertical line between joined tabs to separate them in one step, or click the X on a joined tab to close it entirely.

Additionally, the Easy Files feature has been revamped with a visual update and usability improvements. Instead of a pop-up, Easy Files now appears as a module at the screen's bottom, offering more file visibility, clipboard access, and multi-file selection. When uploading to Aria, Opera’s AI, Easy Files integrates seamlessly at the bottom of the Aria interface.
