Lovable launches major update 2.0 with multiplayer, new chat agent, updated design & more
The popular AI-powered website builder Lovable has launched a major update called "Lovable 2.0", featuring a refreshed brand identity and a more focused, easy-to-navigate interface. The update also introduces a multiplayer feature, enabling collaborative workspaces where teams can work on app and website projects together. Pro subscribers can invite two collaborators per project, while Teams subscribers can invite up to 20 users per workspace, with role-based permissions and a shared credit pool.
A new chat mode agent is also included, capable of planning, debugging, and answering queries without altering code, employing multi-step reasoning to inspect logs, search files, and query databases. Additional features include a Security Scan to detect vulnerabilities during the publishing step for projects linked to Supabase, and the integration of Dev Mode that allows direct code editing (despite a recent controversy over Figma's attempt to trademark the term and a cease and desist, Lovable kept using it).
Visual Edits have been enhanced for improved style customization, and users can now purchase and connect custom domains directly within the platform, with over 10,000 domains already connected. The update also includes a revised pricing structure, with a Pro plan starting at $25/month and a Teams plan at $30/month, designed for individuals and small teams needing collaboration and centralized billing.
