Linkwarden 2.10 brings text highlighting, enhanced search, improved AI tagging, and more
Linkwarden has launched version 2.10, introducing key enhancements and features to optimize webpage and document preservation. Users can now highlight text in saved articles within the readable view, aiding in quick identification of key insights. The search engine has also been significantly upgraded, offering faster performance and advanced search operators such as title:, url:, tag:, before:, and after: for precise result filtering.
Tag management has been improved, allowing users to customize how tags influence link preservation, including automatic preservation or exclusion based on tag settings. Additionally, automated tagging has expanded beyond the local LLM (via Ollama) to include options like OpenAI and Anthropic, facilitating AI task offloading to external services. The AI tagging feature now supports tagging existing links and auto-categorizing them based on content.
For administrators, Linkwarden 2.10 simplifies archiving management, enabling the clearing of old preservations and re-archiving of failed attempts. Various smaller improvements and fixes are also included in this release to ensure seamless operation.
