LabPlot 2.12 launched with enhancements to Worksheet, Spreadsheets, and Analysis tools

LabPlot has launched version 2.12 of its open source Data Visualization and Analysis platform, featuring new enhancements and expanded format support. This update introduces Continual Improvement Plots like Run Charts and Process Behavior Charts for Worksheets, boosting the software’s data visualization capabilities. Users benefit from additional plot sub-types accessible via the context menu, inverse axis scales, and named plot ranges for easier element assignment.

The update also brings improvements to spreadsheet functionalities with periodic and random sampling functions, direct distribution fitting, and enhanced parser performance that significantly reduces runtime. Import/export features are upgraded with MCAP format support, dataset downloads from kaggle.com, and live data reading via UDP.

Additionally, a new Software Development Kit (SDK) and improved data import filter management have been introduced with Shared library for external projects. LabPlot's user documentation has also been migrated to a new dedicated webpage at https://docs.labplot.org.
