ForkLift 4.3 enhances file management with new tooltip, improved tagging, and better icons

BinaryNights has launched ForkLift version 4.3, the latest update to its dual pane file manager and transfer client for macOS. This release introduces new features and enhancements aimed at improving user experience. Users can now benefit from a tooltip feature that provides detailed information on file transfers, including size, speed, and remaining time, when hovering over the transfer's bottom line. Additionally, a 32-pixel icon size can now be set in list view, although this must be adjusted individually for each tab.

A significant addition is the tags favorite group in the sidebar, allowing users to quickly access files and folders tagged on their Mac. The tags section initially displays standard macOS color tags but can be customized. ForkLift 4.3 also brings various improvements and bug fixes, such as an enhanced tools' section, ensuring better handling of spaces in filenames and paths, and an improved undo and redo actions' behavior.
