Cryptomator 1.16 for desktop adds improved vault management and biometric unlocking on Mac

Cryptomator's desktop app has been updated to version 1.16.0, delivering several new features designed to simplify secure file management in the cloud. The release introduces EventView, a dashboard that gives users a centralized view of key vault activities such as conflict resolutions and alerts for corrupted files, improving transparency while a vault is unlocked.

Additionally, a new Decrypt File Name tool lets users select any encrypted file within a vault and instantly retrieve its original name without opening the file. This can streamline locating or identifying files without compromising security. For Mac users, unlocking a vault is now possible through Touch ID, adding speed and convenience to authentication while leveraging biometric security.

The update also contains minor enhancements and bug fixes that improve the overall stability and usability of the software.
