Clipboard manager Planck releases v1.0 with improved sync features & other enhancements

Planck, a clipboard manager known for its cross-device syncing capabilities, has released version 1.0, marking a significant update nearly six months after its initial launch. This major release introduces a new onboarding flow to streamline user experience and features a revamped home page and detail view for better management of clipboard items.

Key updates include the ability to view individual files when copying multiple items and preview copied image files. Users can now label items to easily identify between files, text, and images. The update also allows for the pinning of the popup window for easier access, and gives users the option to disable clipboard monitoring and syncing.

Security enhancements include the ability to reset the encryption key and an option to clear data both locally and in the cloud. For Max premium plan subscribers, the update expands syncing capabilities to 10,000 clipboard items, compared to 100 for free users. Additional premium features for Max users include image search and text extraction via OCR, priority support, and early access to new features.
