Inoreader introduces Pocket integration to let users manage content from a single platform

Inoreader, a widely-used web-based content and RSS feed reader, has introduced a new Pocket integration feature. This update allows users to connect their Pocket accounts directly to Inoreader, enabling seamless transfer of saved articles and tags. By consolidating read-later lists, users can now manage all their content within a single platform.

Once the accounts are connected, the transfer of articles is initiated in one action, with imported content marked with the tag “Pocket import” for easy identification. Although the process might take some time, users will receive a notification upon completion. This integration aims to facilitate a smooth transition for users looking to centralize their saved content.

I don't know how Mozilla let pocket rot and die like that. It was one of the products they have that people would have wanted to paid money for it if they developed it and make it viable. I still every once in a while check it out because I would love to have an alternative to readwise, but it seems to be the same or even worse every time. It's even sadder because technically there are still people working on it and almost every month there's an update, and I don't want to dismiss their work, but the list of stuff that doesn't work is the same after years. So good for the people that see some use for this Inoreader thing, but services that want to have some read-it-later integration should really look somewhere else imo.

Does anyone even use Pocket? I've never heard of anyone talk about it except when considering it a security risk.
