DockFix 3.6 brings Community Docks, sound effects, custom animations, and more
DockFix has released its latest update, version 3.6, introducing the new Community Docks feature, enabling users to share and explore dock configurations, with the most popular ones highlighted on the DockFix website—kind of like a cool app discovery tool, pretty similar to other alternatives like Dockhunt.
Other new features include the return of left and right dock alignments for better reliability. App hover labels make it easier to identify applications at a glance. Users can now adjust dock animation speed and intensity for a more personalized experience. An analog clock option offers an alternative to the digital display, and new sound effects enhance app interactions—though they can be disabled if preferred.
App-specific context menus have been added for quicker access to actions, and animations have been smoothed out for a better user experience. The update also addresses various bugs, including dock overshooting and repeated animation frames, enhancing overall stability.
