Threads launches new feature for sharing your custom feeds with anyone

Threads has announced a new feature that allows users to share custom feeds they've created. This feature enables users to engage with others who share similar interests and discover relevant profiles and conversations. To facilitate exploration, a new Feeds tab will be available on user profiles, allowing easy browsing of public custom feeds.

Users can pin their favorite feeds for quick access to specific topics and people they follow closely. However, before a custom feed can be shared, it must be set to public. This can be done by tapping and holding the feed, selecting "Edit feeds," and enabling the "Public feed" option.

To share a custom feed, users need to tap and hold the feed at the top of the Threads app, select "Edit feeds," then "View feed," and use either the quote icon for a preview post or the "Share feed" button for a link or direct message. This feature builds on Threads' introduction of custom feeds in November, which allowed users to curate their content experience. The rollout of the sharing feature is gradual, so availability may vary by location.
