Private note-taking app Notesnook version 3.0.25 brings overhauled tab logic and bug fixes
Notesnook, a popular open source and end-to-end encrypted note-taking application, has released its latest version 3.0.25, introducing several notable improvements and bug fixes. The update brings a complete overhaul of the tab logic, allowing users to navigate tab history with back and forward buttons in the tab bar. The preview tabs feature has been removed, meaning notes now open in the same tab unless explicitly opened in a new tab via right-click.
Users can now open a single note in multiple tabs, with changes syncing across all tabs, setting the stage for potential side-by-side note editing in the future. This enhancement aims to streamline the tab experience, reducing clutter from excessive open tabs when searching for a specific note.
The update also addresses a bug where the sidebar collapsed during window resizing and resolves various Android widget issues. Version 3.0.25 also includes numerous other enhancements and bug fixes, further refining the app's stability and user experience.
