Mobile app improvements include album deep links for direct access and seamless shared album participation, allowing users to join and contribute to albums more easily. Search capabilities in shared photos have been upgraded with encrypted machine learning indexes for advanced queries, and users with powerful desktops can aid in indexing shared libraries for family members.

The new "Faces to Contacts" feature lets users assign names and avatars to contacts, moving beyond email address displays. Additionally, Ente has introduced a beta for encrypted video streaming, offering compressed playback with random seek capabilities on mobile apps.
