Elgato releases Wave Link 2.0 with AI noise reduction, audio routing, app grouping & more
Elgato has launched Wave Link 2.0, introducing AI-powered noise reduction using AI technology to eliminate background noise, room reverb, and echo for studio-quality voice output. Users can also now simplify audio routing by assigning active applications to specific channels and group apps for easier control, allowing multiple applications, like game audio, to be consolidated into a single channel. The Sound Check feature lets users record, apply effects, and play back audio before broadcasting.
Additionally, Wave Link 2.0 seamlessly integrates with Elgato's Stream Deck, enabling quick access through exported configurations. Users can rename input channels, which automatically updates virtual device names in Windows, and benefit from dynamic input control and foreground app routing for efficient audio management.
The update also introduces a hardware-level microphone mute button for Elgato mics and promises a more straightforward setup process. Users can access the update within the app or via the official link provided.
