ElevenLabs Expands Studio Access: Free Projects & Enhanced Features for All Creators

ElevenLabs has expanded access to its Studio feature, formerly known as "Projects," to all users, not just paid subscribers. This tool is designed for creators and storytellers, providing a longform text-to-audio editor for producing audiobooks, voiceovers, articles, and podcasts. It offers detailed voice customization, allowing users to adjust pitch, tone, and pacing to suit specific narration styles.

A highly requested feature, pacing control, has been added, letting users insert breaks between speech sections. Additionally, the Studio now auto-assigns voices for audiobooks or scripts with multiple characters, simplifying the process by reducing manual effort.

Free-tier users can work on up to three projects, while paid subscribers have unlimited project capabilities. Studio also incorporates GenFM, enabling the creation of AI-driven podcast-style discussions by uploading documents or importing content from URLs. Users can select from two podcast formats: a Host-Guest conversation or a bulletin narrated by a Host.
