CompressX has rebranded as Compresto and introduced several new features

CompressX has introduced a rebrand and is now known as Compresto. This update not only brings a new name but also adds key features like recursive subfolder compression, allowing users to compress entire directory structures at once. A new minimalist menu bar icon provides quick access to tasks with customizable settings. Image resizing options have been expanded for all formats except PNG, and the dynamic island feature now includes notifications for completed tasks.

Compresto also provides detailed compression statistics, showing both the reduced file size and the percentage of space saved. A focused file preview for individual files enhances the review process by replacing the standard grid view. Subtle UI and animation improvements enhance the app’s aesthetics and usability.

Existing users can easily transition to Compresto, as all data, licenses, and workflows remain intact with an update to the latest version.
