Spotify expands music video to the US and Canada for premium subscribers
Spotify is expanding beta access to music videos for premium subscribers in the United States and Canada, more than a year and a half after launching the feature for premium users in other countries. This marks a major step for the streaming service, which is now bringing official music videos, including studio versions, live performances, and covers, to a much larger audience.
During this beta phase, the initial music video catalog remains limited, but Spotify states that it will grow rapidly as more content is added over the coming months. Premium users in these regions can already explore videos from artists such as Ariana Grande, Olivia Dean, BABYMONSTER, Addison Rae, Tyler Childers, Natanael Cano, and Carín León.
Music videos join Spotify's existing suite of tools aimed at helping artists build closer connections with their fans. While only some users may see the feature immediately, Spotify has confirmed that all premium subscribers in the United States and Canada will have access by the end of the month.
