SoundSource 6 brings grouped outputs, AirPlay support, Quick Configs, and refreshed UI
SoundSource 6 has been released, bringing advanced audio settings, per-application control, and the ability to apply effects to any audio running on your Mac. This version provides more flexibility for managing how and where sound is sent on your system.
New audio routing capabilities let you play audio through multiple outputs at once using grouped output devices. In addition, SoundSource 6 expands support for AirPlay by allowing users to send audio to devices like HomePods and Sonos speakers. You can route the sound from individual apps to one or more AirPlay targets, or stream all of your system audio to several AirPlay devices in sync.
Alongside these routing enhancements, a new audio devices window offers advanced control over the connected audio hardware, making it easier to manage complex setups. Additionally, Quick Configs enable you to save and instantly load custom audio configurations, including device selections, effects chains, and volume preferences, especially useful for quickly changing between environments or setups.
Building on these core features, SoundSource 6 delivers further improvements and incorporates a redesigned user interface that is both easier to use and more customizable for end users.

Bloated Adwaita UI. Desktops don't need everything to be that huge with only 6 sliders fitting huge window.
