EA is delisting Real Racing 3 from the app stores, with servers shut down planned for 2026
Electronic Arts has announced that Real Racing 3, developed by Firemonkeys Studios, will be sunset. This means the popular racing game will no longer be accessible after server shutdown. The title will be delisted from both the Google Play and Apple App Stores on December 18, 2025, making new downloads unavailable after that date.
Following the delisting, players will still be able to access the game until March 19, 2026. After this date, the servers will be turned off, rendering the game inaccessible to all users. Ahead of this transition, all in-app purchases have been disabled immediately. However, existing players can continue to use any remaining in-game currencies until the final server shutdown in March 2026.
As a gesture of appreciation, Electronic Arts is offering a final update which delivers 1000 Gold, an Audi S1 e-tron quattro, and a 2023 Rimac Nevera to every player. If a player already owns either car, additional gold will be credited. These changes mark the closure of Real Racing 3 after more than a decade of service to mobile racing fans.

Proprietary "you own nothing and be happy" enshittification which is to kill games and offer no self-hosting option. It's so reminiscent of Ubisloth.
