Bento to shut down in 2026 as Linktree takes over and offers migration path

The landing page creator for one page link hubs Bento.me has announced it will shut down on February 13, 2026, more than two years after being acquired by Linktree. The company describes the decision as a planned transition and provides users with a clear timeline to wind down their pages.

After the shutdown, all Bento user and profile data will be permanently deleted, and existing Bento links will redirect to Linktree. Users are advised to export any content they want to keep before the deadline. Bento will also email users with migration instructions and a special Linktree Pro offer, while Linktree says it has added features inspired by Bento, including visual layouts, content blocks, and media embeds.

This is not the first time Linktree has taken this approach. In January 2024, Linktree acquired another similar competitor, Koji, and shut down its platform shortly after the acquisition, mirroring the path now being taken with Bento.
