ForkLift 4.4.4 brings preview fixes, new sidebar actions, and visual enhancements on macOS

ForkLift 4.4.4 arrives with several key fixes and usability improvements for macOS users managing files with this advanced dual pane file manager. The latest update addresses a notable issue in which the information section of the preview pane did not always refresh while navigating between files. With this release, the displayed information in the preview pane consistently updates, improving the browsing experience.

In addition to preview reliability, the update tackles multiple macOS-specific visual problems. Users will no longer encounter black areas during full screen use, and the problem that previously prevented window resizing when the preview pane was visible on newer macOS versions is now resolved. Alongside these interface corrections, synchronization workflows see improvement, as synchronization now reliably starts on the first attempt rather than requiring repeated actions.

Additionally, secondary click behavior in the sidebar now works as intended; both option-clicking and control-clicking are supported, making folder management more intuitive. Users who prefer mouse navigation can now open items from the Show Devices, Quick Open Devices, and Go to Folder pop-ups directly by double-clicking. Finally, the release incorporates a set of additional minor bug fixes to support overall usability and stability.
