FL Studio 2025.2 adds Fruity Slicer 2, Emphasizer, new genres, and smarter tools
FL Studio 2025.2 introduces Fruity Slicer 2 and Emphasizer in every edition, expanding the core toolset at no extra cost and continuing the Lifetime Free Updates policy. Loop Starter adds new genres including boom bap, reggaeton, phonk, and afrobeats, along with key support for starting sessions in a chosen key or matching existing projects. Fruity Slicer 2 also brings a redesigned interface with faster slicing and per slice envelopes for more precise control.
Emphasizer arrives as a simplified tool for quick sound enhancement, while the full Emphasis plugin gains instant recovery mode, smoother previews, and a declicked hardness control. Sound browsing improves with Find similar sounds, which offers smart matches from the library with a single click.
Mixer FX slots add Patcherize options for converting entire chains into Patcher modules. The update also delivers smaller improvements across DirectWave, sidechain routing, MIDI tools, audio clip editing, stem extraction, keyboard shortcuts, and support for importing FL Studio Web projects.
