Spotify adds venue‑following feature so you can track and get details on upcoming concerts

Spotify is expanding its concert discovery tools, allowing both free and premium users to follow their favorite venues, find new local spots, and see upcoming lineups directly within the app. This update builds on March's Concerts Near You launch by offering a seamless way to track venues and event details without leaving Spotify.

Alongside these capabilities, the live events feed has been redesigned with a refreshed interface and now updates daily. The feed offers smarter recommendations, providing a more tailored experience for finding upcoming concerts. While Concerts Near You refreshes weekly, the new feed integrates each listener’s streaming history, location, and preferred genres to surface concerts most relevant to them.

When users follow a venue, it is saved to their Spotify library for easy access. The app also suggests other venues that may match the user's interests. Once a concert of interest is found, users can purchase tickets via the event’s official ticketing partner, and all event details are confirmed within Spotify. Users can return to the app at any time to view past or upcoming events and continue discovering more concerts.
