Mem 2.0 relaunches with smarter note-taking tools, offline support, and a new Agentic Chat

Mem has launched Mem 2.0, a rebuilt version positioned as an “AI Thought Partner” rather than a traditional notes app. The update introduces a new brand identity and redesigned interface, offering faster, more reliable, and offline-first performance across web, desktop, and mobile, along with new features like Dark Mode.

New capture tools include Voice Mode for recording and transcribing spoken ideas, an Agentic Chrome Extension to save webpages as structured notes, and email integration to convert forwarded messages into organized entries.

AI features include Deep Search to find content by meaning rather than exact keywords, Heads Up to resurface relevant notes during meetings or writing, Clean Up to format unstructured notes automatically, and Agentic Chat to create, edit, and brainstorm with full knowledge base context. Version History adds control by letting users revert to earlier note versions.
