Google expands Opal AI app builder to 15 more countries and boosts performance
Google has expanded access to Opal, its natural language-driven tool for building, editing, and sharing AI mini-apps, to 15 additional countries. The rollout covers Canada, India, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, Brazil, Singapore, Colombia, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Honduras, Argentina, and Pakistan, broadening the platform's reach across several continents.
Alongside this geographic expansion, Google has introduced key workflow upgrades. Users now have the ability to run their workflows step-by-step within the visual editor, or focus on individual steps in the console panel. Errors are flagged in real time and are tied precisely to the relevant step, giving immediate context and reducing guesswork during troubleshooting.
Additionally, Opal's core performance has also been enhanced. Creating a new project is now noticeably faster than before, as Google has substantially reduced startup wait times. Additionally, Opal can execute multiple workflow steps in parallel, enabling more complex automation and reducing overall processing delays.
