Claude Desktop is now generally available for download on both Mac and Windows, providing persistent access directly from the dock. The application is designed to run in the background, remaining available when needed without interrupting workflow.
Mac users also gain new tools for capturing screenshots, sharing window context, and initiating voice input by pressing Caps Lock.
