TeamSpeak launches a major update with a big redesign, screen sharing, communities & more!

TeamSpeak (yes, that once-iconic VoIP gaming platform) is making a significant comeback with a major update aimed directly at challenging its biggest rival, Discord, after years of being overshadowed. This surprising update introduces several competitive features that users have been demanding for ages, including screen and camera sharing, 1440p and 60fps streaming, multi-streaming, enhanced audio quality, and communities, which allow users to directly purchase their own TeamSpeak server through myTS.

The interface has also been redesigned with a Discord-style layout, featuring group chats similar to Discord's servers and channels, and a customizable setup that integrates video calls, chat windows, and game-specific discussions. Gaming integration is a key focus, with the app showcasing a list of games, potentially allowing users to connect for discussions or gameplay.

With high-resolution streaming capabilities, Teamspeak aims to attract users who demand superior video quality for gaming sessions. So, are any of you ready to ditch Discord and return to the good old times? 😉
