PeaZip 10.2 released with enhanced archive detection, Qt 6 packages for Linux, and more

PeaZip has released version 10.2, introducing a range of updates and improvements to this widely-used file archiver utility. This update enhances the detection of issues within archives and improves the display of archive comments. Additionally, GUI support for Brotli and Zstandard maximum compression settings has been added.

The 7z component has been updated to version 24.09, while PEA has been upgraded to version 1.22, which now includes a hybrid Key Derivation Function (KDF) mode. This mode utilizes both PBKDF2 and Scrypt to bolster defenses against dictionary and brute force password-recovery attacks.

For Linux users, Qt6 packages have replaced the previous Qt5 packages, and the Flatpak build now supports Wayland with an X11 fallback. A GTK3-alpha package is also available, but strictly for testing purposes.
