OpenProject 15.2 brings a new reminder feature and an option to export timesheets as PDFs

OpenProject has released version 15.2 of its free and open-source project management software, introducing a range of new features and improvements. A notable addition is the new reminder feature, designed to help users prioritize urgent tasks by notifying them of upcoming work packages.

The update also enhances the flexibility of time report exports. Users can now generate PDF timesheets in addition to the existing Excel export option. This feature allows for easy setup of report filters and the creation of polished PDF reports for sharing.

Version 15.2 further includes the ability to add lag to Predecessor/Successor task relationships, create new folders directly within file storage integrations, and improve grouping and ordering for custom fields of type hierarchy. Additionally, user information is now accessible by hovering over a user’s avatar, streamlining the process of retrieving specific user details without navigating away from the current page.
