Tails 6.7 has been released with updates to Tor Browser, Thunderbird, and OnionShare

The Tails project has announced the release of version 6.7 of its portable operating system, which focuses on protecting users against surveillance and censorship. This update follows closely on the heels of Tails 6.6, introduced less than a month ago.

Key updates in Tails 6.7 include the integration of Tor Browser version 13.5.3, Thunderbird version 115.15.0, and OnionShare version 2.6, which now features an anonymous chat room capability. Additionally, the latest version maintains the firewall's activation even during shutdown and resolves an error encountered when starting an older Tails USB stick with a system partition of 2.5 GB.

These enhancements and bug fixes aim to bolster the system's security and usability, ensuring users can continue to rely on Tails for secure and private communication.
