Simplenote introduces email login and new shortcuts for iOS and macOS

Simplenote has introduced a new email login feature. Users can now log in by entering their account email, receiving a code, and using it to sign in. Some platforms even support automatic sign-in with a single tap in the email. Traditional password login remains available by selecting "Enter password" after inputting the email. Currently, the email login feature is available on all apps except Windows and Linux, with updates for these platforms expected soon.

Additionally, Simplenote has rolled out new shortcuts for iOS and macOS, enhancing note management automation. The "Open New Note" shortcut allows users to create a new note immediately upon launching the app. The "Append to Note" shortcut lets users add text to an existing note without opening Simplenote, and the "Find Note with Tag" shortcut enables quick filtering of notes using specific tags.

These shortcuts can streamline workflows when combined with other apps, such as copying and pasting content into a note without directly opening Simplenote.
