Bumble unveils AI-driven tools, including an AI photo picker to enhance profile pictures
Bumble is introducing new AI-driven features to enhance profile creation and communication on its app. CEO Lidiane Jones announced these advancements at Goldman Sachs' annual technology conference, highlighting the company's focus on integrating deeper AI functionalities.
One of the new features is an AI-assisted photo picker tool that will recommend the best selfies from a user's camera folder, aiming to improve profile quality. This tool is similar to Tinder's recently introduced Photo Selector. Additionally, the AI features will help users in starting conversations with new matches, reducing friction in profile creation and enhancing the overall user experience.
Previously, Bumble has used AI with an ice-breaking feature for its friendship-focused platform, Bumble for Friends, which suggests initial messages based on profile information.
