Ideogram 2.0 released with new iOS app, API for developers, and enhanced features

Ideogram has unveiled its 2.0 version, introducing a new iOS app that enables users to create AI-generated images on their iPhones and iPads in seconds. The updated version includes premium features available via subscription plans starting at $7 per month, and a beta API for developers to integrate and enhance their applications.

Over the past year, Ideogram users have generated more than 1 billion images, now publicly accessible through Ideogram Search. Users can choose from distinct styles such as Realistic, Design, 3D, and Anime, and generate images in any aspect ratio, including 3:1 and 1:3.

The Magic Prompt and Describe features have been significantly improved, allowing users to generate detailed text prompts from images, create creative prompt variations, and bring these prompts to life as new images. According to Ideogram's announcement, “human evaluations consistently rate Ideogram 2.0 as a significant improvement over Flux Pro and DALL·E 3”, while maintaining competitive API pricing.
