Disney will raise prices for Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ subscriptions starting October 17
Disney will raise prices for its subscription services, including Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+, starting October 17 in the United States. This change comes nearly a year after the last price hike. The announcement was made on Tuesday, along with details about new features set to be added to Disney+ on September 4.
Under the new pricing, Disney+ with ads will cost $9.99 per month, up by $2, while the ad-free version will rise to $15.99 per month or $159.99 annually. Hulu's ad-supported service will increase to $9.99 per month and $99.99 annually, and the ad-free version will go up to $18.99 per month. ESPN+ will see its price rise to $11.99 per month and $119.99 annually. Additionally, the Duo Basic bundle, which includes ad-supported versions of Disney+ and Hulu, will increase to $10.99 per month, although the ad-free bundle will remain at $19.99 per month.
Disney also announced new content for Disney+, including ABC News Live and a preschool playlist starting September 4, with more curated playlists to follow later in the fall.

With all of the free content out there on 'net in various places, and the fact that I get ~60 TV channels for free with an antenna, remind me again why I would even CONSIDER paying for a streaming service..... Especially the likes of Disney or ESPN.
Stremio for the win! The streaming market is going down hill.
I just wish it had native offline mode 😅
I know it isn't a "hot take", but the streaming market is expensive and oversaturated. And price increases to boot? No thanks...
Seconded. FEELS like there's two dozen apps and each one is $20, still including ads. LOL. I refuse to pay for any of these services.
