TickTick desktop 6.0 released to enhance your task management and habit tracking

TickTick has launched version 6.0 of its desktop application, bringing significant updates to enhance user experience. Users can now right-click the tasks tab and select “Show with Calendar” to display tasks and calendar events side by side, allowing for seamless drag-and-drop scheduling. All scheduled tasks are now visible on a timeline, providing a clear overview of deadlines and commitments.

The update also introduces an improved text editing experience within task details. Users can select text to access quick formatting options like bold and highlight, and customize the task input box style via “More Input Box Settings”.

Additionally, the habit tracking feature has been revamped. The habit homepage now supports both “List” and “Card” views, with the ability to change completed check-in dates to habit icons. Users can filter to show only today's habits for efficient tracking, and the calendar displays progress over the past seven days, with clickable records for each day.
