Stability AI launches Stable Video 4D, a new multi-angle 3D video generation tool

Stability AI has unveiled Stable Video 4D, an advanced AI model that transforms a single object video into multiple novel-view videos from various angles and perspectives. This tool enables users to generate realistic, multi-angle videos from just one input video, enhancing visualization capabilities. Users upload a single video and specify desired 3D camera poses for rendering. The model generates five frames across eight views in 40 seconds, with the full 4D optimization process taking 20 to 25 minutes.

Stability AI foresees applications for Stable Video 4D in game development, video editing, and virtual reality, aiming to boost realism and immersion. This release follows previous AI video generators from the company, such as Stable Video Diffusion and Stable Video 3D. However, Stable Video 4D is their first video-to-video generator, marking a significant milestone.
