Popular ebook reader FBReader now supports DRM-protected ebooks in its 2.1 version

FBReader, a widely-used cross-platform ebook reader, has launched its version 2.1 for macOS, Windows, and Linux. The most noteworthy feature of this update is the integration of Readium LCP, which allows users to open DRM-protected books seamlessly.

Additional enhancements in this version include the option to save network passwords securely in the system storage, the ability to collect usage statistics optionally, and the capability to edit bookmark text for personal notes. The update also introduces Slovenian localization and various minor improvements and bug fixes to enhance user experience.
