Nomic releases GPT4All 3.0, its open-source local LLM desktop app with new redesign & more

Nomic AI has released version 3.0 of GPT4ALL, celebrating the first anniversary of their open-source local LLM desktop application. It's good, but text-generation-webUI already does it all, faster and more lightweight.

text-generation-webUI really is very good, fast and lightweight but you have to consider that not all people are into programming or running a localhost server. I mean, it IS easy to setup and run but some people just prefer a normal GUI application that they can install and launch from the Application Grid or Start Menu.

You literally just open the "website" and that's the ui. It's just as easy as gpt4all. Takes no programming knowledge whatsoever.
