Immich introduces licensing options to support development in its latest update

Immich, an open-source self-hosted photo and video management solution, has introduced licensing options to financially support its ongoing development. The Immich team emphasizes that while they believe in paying for software you use and appreciate, they will not restrict access for users who choose not to pay.

Two types of licenses are available: the Server license and the Individual license. The Server license, priced at $99.99, is a lifetime license that covers the entire server and all its users. The Individual license, costing $24.99, is also a lifetime license but applies to a single user, allowing them to connect to any server.

Starting with release v1.109.0, users can purchase and enter their license keys directly within the app.
