GoodLinks 2.0 released with new highlighting features for this read-it-later application
GoodLinks, a macOS and iOS app designed for saving and organizing articles for later reading without ads or distractions, has just rolled out its 2.0 version. This update introduces several new features, including the ability to highlight important information within articles and add notes, making it easier to remember key passages. Users can also export these highlights in Markdown format, facilitating integration with other apps.
The update also enhances automation capabilities by adding support for new Shortcuts actions, allowing users to retrieve, edit, delete, and open highlights. To streamline workflow further, a Highlight widget has been introduced, providing quick access to annotated content directly from the home screen. Additionally, there's now an option to automatically download images for offline availability, ensuring users can access their saved content even without an internet connection.
