RustDesk 1.2.6 released with dual screen support, AV1 codec and many Wayland-related fixes
RustDesk, a popular remote desktop software and alternative to TeamViewer and AnyDesk, has released version 1.2.6, packed with new features and enhancements. This update introduces the ability to remove desktop wallpapers on Windows and Linux during remote sessions. It also supports dual screen and dual windows configurations.
RustDesk 1.2.6 can now write logs to external storage on Android for auditing purposes, it improves auto reconnect, adds autocomplete in the ID input box, and includes physical keyboard support on Android. Additionally, the update incorporates the AV1 codec for recording and offers compatibility with KDE Plasma 6.
This version addresses numerous Wayland-related bugs and includes various other improvements and fixes, further refining the user experience.
