OpenProject 14.2 released with enhanced time recording and improved project attributes

OpenProject, the open-source project management software (as its name implies), has released version 14.2 with several significant improvements. One major enhancement is in time recording, allowing users to specify work time, remaining work, and spent time in days, not just hours. Administrators must define how many hours constitute a day to utilize this feature.

Administrators can now activate or deactivate project attributes across multiple projects simultaneously, simplifying project management tasks. Users also have the ability to rename custom project lists, which enhances flexibility and saves time previously spent creating new lists for name changes.

Email notifications have been refined to ensure users receive immediate emails for @mentions based on their settings, without duplicating reminders. Additionally, the Meeting module now includes a checkbox for emailing invited users when scheduling a new meeting, adding convenience. These updates in OpenProject 14.2 aim to enhance precision, efficiency, and user experience in project management.
