Celluloid 0.27 released with improved floating-mode user interface and faster launch times
Celluloid, the simple and modern GTK frontend for the media player mpv, has rolled out version 0.27 with several noteworthy updates. This release enhances the user interface by updating the controls and header bar in floating mode. Additionally, a new loading screen now appears during initialization and buffering, improving user feedback.
Performance improvements include a reduction in the time it takes for the main window to appear after launching. The preferences' dialog has also been optimized: opening and closing it will no longer reset mpv unless necessary changes are made. Furthermore, Celluloid 0.27 updates deprecated GTK API usage and introduces support for multi-file user scripts.
