Raycast releases version 1.73 with new Typing Practice Command and AI Emojis Suggestions

Raycast has recently launched its updated version 1.73 with a variety of new features, including the 'Typing Practice Command', developed in collaboration with Monkeytype, to help users improve their typing skills and Words Per Minute (WPM) rate, similar to other services like Typing Club or TypeLit.io.

The new version introduces AI Emoji Suggestions for Pro users. This feature uses previously used suggestions as custom keywords to provide quick access to frequently used emojis. Users can enable or disable this feature in the Settings. The AI Chat Default Settings feature is another addition, allowing users to set default settings for creating new chats based on Last Used Settings, AI Chat Preset, or a model.

The updated version has also improved the Date Pickers feature, which now supports natural language input and provides corresponding date suggestions. Snippets now support up to 15k simultaneous snippet aliases, improving workflow efficiency. The Open Camera feature has been updated with a new setting to exclude wallpaper from photos.
