PeaZip 9.8 brings new options, command line switches, and Mac & Tux themes
PeaZip has released its latest update, version 9.8, with several new features to improve functionality and user experience. This version brings an “Always browse archives in flat view” option switch, along with the inclusion of comment and info functions in the status bar context menu, enhancing the software's ability to provide relevant information. The update also improves the direct extraction of archives from the context menu, making the process more efficient for users.
The aesthetic aspect of PeaZip 9.8 includes new Mac and Tux themes. Nevertheless, users who favor older themes or wish to personalize their interface can continue to access previously available and additional custom themes online.
For Windows 10 and 11 users, PeaZip now allows manual setting to light or dark mode, regardless of the system mode. The latest version also introduces new command line switches, which can be used in scripts and for system integration, providing more flexibility for advanced users.
